Message from the C.E.O.

Do you have a passion for libraries and would like to give back to your community? The Oshawa Public Library Board is seeking volunteers for its next four-year term. Library Board members are appointed by City Council and must be at least eighteen years of age, a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, as well as a resident of Oshawa. They cannot be employees of the Library or the City of Oshawa.
The Library Board is a governance board that oversees policies governing the operation and programs of the Library as well as advocating for the support of library programs and services. For more information or to apply click here.
Also, this Fall the McLaughlin Branch will be a little noisier than usual as we continue the replacement of our old, single pane windows. We may also have to temporarily close some sections of the McLaughlin Branch as each window is replaced for safety reasons, and regret any inconvenience this may cause.

See you at the Library!
Frances
