A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson was such a good read that I highly recommend it. It was one of my favourite books because of the captivating storyline and unexpected plot twist! If you're a fan of mystery thrillers with a hint of romance, be sure to check this book out! Here's a summary of the book: Pippa Fitz-Amobi, also known as Pip, is a high school student looking into an old case for her school project. She decides something is fishy with the case and believes the person found guilty, Sal Singh, is actually innocent. The case's conclusion was that Sal killed his girlfriend, Andie Bell, and killed himself after, making him guilty of murder. Pip's first step is to interrogate Sal's brother, Ravi, about the case. The two eventually become a sleuthing team and go through many surprising obstacles to finally reveal the true killer in a shocking plot twist! One thing I loved about this book is how the author gives you all the information you need to solve the case with the main characters, but you only begin to connect the dots after the plot twist is revealed. Her writing style made me feel as if I were in the book as the main character and going through all the experiences. Holly Jackson is great at setting the scene and implements great visualization techniques.
