Facility Rentals

The Oshawa Public Libraries offers several rooms of various sizes to suit the community's needs. All locations offer a large screen and kitchen access upon request. Wi-fi internet access is available at all locations, and a piano is available at the McLaughlin Branch. Please identify your requirements at the time of your booking.

Locations

The McLaughlin Branch at 65 Bagot Street offers the McLaughlin Auditorium with a capacity of 130 people in a theatre-style arrangement. Other seating plans may reduce the maximum capacity.

 
 

The John Aker Northview Branch at 250 Beatrice Street East offers the Nonquon Room with a capacity of 80 people. A small Conference Room is also available to groups of up to 12 people.

 
 

The Delpark Homes Centre Branch at 1661 Harmony Road North offers a Programme Room with a capacity of 20 people.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be provided one week (7 days) prior to the date of booking.

Insurance

The Library requires proof of a minimum of $2 million general liability insurance naming both the City of Oshawa and the Oshawa Public Library Board each as an additional insured.  In lieu of providing a certificate of insurance, eligible contract holders can purchase insurance through the Library at the time of booking.
