Our purpose is to promote and enhance the services provided by the Oshawa Public Libraries through activities involving fundraising, advocacy, and our volunteers.
The Giant Book Sale is happening from Wednesday, September 27 to Saturday, September 30!
Ramp access to the book sale is available on the west side of the building (Queen St.). An elevator is also available to access the lower level, with a few (stair) steps down to enter the Auditorium.
Fundraising
The Friends of the Library operates used book sales usually twice a year in the auditorium of the McLaughlin branch. Upcoming sales will be posted on the library website.
Throughout the year, a selection of used books and magazines for sale can be found at all four branches. Customers can choose a book and make a small donation to the Library through the Friends. No contribution is too small!
