A story by Gale Forman about life and death. A girl named Amber Crane was going home like a normal day, but when her mother saw her, she screamed because Amber was supposed to be dead. It turns out Amber’s death has impacted many people, even those she barely knew. Some relationships were destroyed, others turned around for the better, and some were made after Amber’s death. This story shows the line between life and death, how one life can impact the world. Overall, this story is a heart-wrenching story exploring what happens when someone dies, how people react and cope with their emotions. This emotional complex tale is a great read for those who want an emotional story and how memories can make relationships forever, even if the person is dead, because what matters is that you remember them. Life will go on, things will change for the better or for the worse, so cherish your time and live how you want now and don’t wait until you die because the chances of us coming back after life to fix things are slim. The ending was bittersweet and fast, all coming to a fast close with lots of love. Overall, this is a beautifully written book about grief, loss, how people will cope, how one death can impact many people in many ways, and the complexity of life. This is basically what this whole book is about. It is a short read, in my opinion, so it is a great, quick read that will probably take a few days. I would definitely recommend this if you’re bored and want an emotional, quick book to read.
