I usually start off my reviews with general trigger warnings for each book. However, there are two stories in this book. There doesn't seem to be any content or trigger warnings in the book. The genres for this book include drama, romance, and overall slice of life. If I could describe this book using one or two words, it would have to be cake pops because the book is so tiny and sweet it makes you feel like you're biting into some feel-good content! Even though it's a simplistic and cute set of short stories, there's not a lot. In fact, I initially thought there was only one short story until I turned the page. The stories themselves only follow a small set of characters, the maximum being five, with only two protagonists in the book. Their P.O.Vs are the only ones we follow throughout the stories. Both of the stories also take time around the holidays but are closer to New Year's Day!
The stories aren't heavy, in fact they're very light in terms of content they're actually feel good stories with very light elements. However in my personal opinion I can relate to the 2nd story easier, but I actually prefer the 1st story. Due to the length of the story and the background information given about the characters. In terms of age rating, I'd say this book is probably for individuals aged 13 and over, just because people younger than those ages probably didn't experience or can relate to the characters.
