By James Clear
5 Stars
Atomic Habits by James Clear is a non-fiction book that guides readers in creating positive routines, breaking bad habits, and forming new, beneficial ones. It shows readers how to develop habits that will eventually pay off. This book offers advice on improving yourself by 1% from the previous day in order to gain confidence. Using the four laws of behaviour modification, the book teaches readers how to establish positive routines and habits. The author also teaches us how to stop addictive bad habits by using reversible versions of those behavioural modifications. My rating of Atomic Habits is 5 stars because it helped me build better routines and habits and how to break my bad habits that hold me back, such as my phone addiction and junk food consumption. In addition to helping me balance my healthy habits with enjoying my stuff, this book has helped me with time management. With this book, I learned to stop doubting my healthy routines and trust the procedure, as it taught me that the process of our routines will build up slowly, and the results will show if we are patient and don't give up. It teaches me how to still have time for my enjoyment while doing what I have to do. A book like Atomic Habits is a good option for people who are interested in self-improvement, as it helps them track their schedules, habits, and routines and break out of bad habits. This book is recommended for anyone looking to make changes in their life, as well as those who are skeptical about doing healthy, well-intentioned things that take time to yield results because it motivates them to continue achieving the healthy habits they doubt they can achieve.
