Following the main character, Shoyo Hinata, through his journey to becoming one of the best volleyball players has been one of the most memorable things I constantly think about, even to this day. Not only has Haikyu!! been one of my favourite series; it teaches you the basic techniques, tricks and what it means to play volleyball in unimaginably splendid ways, including what teamwork means, the passion that drives you to improve, and the overall love people have for the sport. I myself, after reading a couple volumes, had gotten hooked on volleyball and reread the series multiple times as I awaited new volumes. Filled with love, tears and splendour, Haikyu!! will forever be one of the greatest manga created to inspire others in a number of ways, ending in a more than satisfactory way. Considering that the author did not know how to draw, yet made and completed a series is astonishing, along with the well-thought-out formatting of scenes that make everything feel surreal. In addition, he also went as far as to watch live matches, study, and play volleyball himself to establish a proper representation of volleyball. Now, that’s a dedicated stretch to bring a smile to every critic’s face. This last volume, as expected from the cover, is a wrap-up of Hinata’s journey of becoming one of the very best volleyball players, taking us along the lives of his former teammates to see what they’ve been up to during their years after high school. A magnificent and satisfying end for Haikyu!!, presenting the struggles and passion that can be obtained no matter what.
