Hidden Nature is a story that portrays a woman who returns to her hometown after a long period of time. She wants to rebuild her life and reconnect with her roots. As soon as she settles in, she starts to uncover deep, dark family secrets and events that hint at something darker beneath the surface. As she dives into this mystery, she eventually realizes that the truth is far more complex and dangerous.
What I enjoyed most about Hidden Nature is the way the main character is portrayed throughout this novel. The book blends a mix of mystery, romance and emotional healing into one timeline, which makes the story extremely engaging. I found the main character easy to connect with in the sense that she's very strong but still vulnerable. She's trying to make sense of her last while also trying to face new challenges.
The suspense gradually builds in this story; I liked how the mystery unfolds in even layers rather than being thrown at the readers all at once. Each new secret reveals the supernatural touches without overwhelming the storyline.
If I had one critique, it's that some parts move a little slowly, especially early on, when the story is still setting up the town and its history. A few side characters could have been explored more deeply, too. But overall, the pacing picks up nicely, and the final sections are written well.
Overall, this book has a mix of suspense and emotion. I would recommend this book as it's a story that keeps you curious throughout the entire storyline.
