The novel No Safe House is a thriller which dives into the realm of psychological thriller, danger, and crime. This novel has a lot of twists and turns and even moments that have you wondering if you should trust certain characters because the story gives you a loophole of ideas and twists to throw the readers off track, and that keeps the reader invested and focused on the story. The characters are pretty well-written in my opinion. I like how the writer involved all of the characters in the story, and really created dynamics between some of the characters and made sure to keep adding new characters throughout the story to keep it new and refreshing. The story also dives into the corruption scene and has a lot of moments where the characters are tested on what’s right and wrong and put into situations where they need to take a stand and do what’s right. That’s what I love about thrillers, seeing what decisions the characters make in the moment and seeing what effect it’ll have afterwards. Lastly, this novel does have a lot of twists and turns and a lot of moments where you have to take a second to debrief everything that’s going on, but that’s what makes a thriller a thriller. This novel would be great for die-hard thriller fans because it serves great as a thriller novel and can even be taken as horror by some. And that’s why I gave this novel a 4 out of 5.
