Sakamoto Days, an extremely comical take on the spy/assassin genre written by Yuto Suzuki and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki. A story about the world's most feared hitman Taro Sakamoto that retired to have a simple normal family life. Throughout the story Yuto often finds himself in dangerous situations despite trying to leave his life as a hitman behind him, but his past constantly seems to catch up with him.
I find Sakamoto Days to be quite interesting and quite exciting, tending to remind me of One Punch Man, especially the protagonist Taro Sakamoto. In the way that he is more powerful than many of the characters in the series, and how he always has an indifferent but funny take on many situations, especially ones that involve his family. But Sakamoto Days is completely different from One Punch Man in many ways such as Sakamoto Days feeling much more grounded than One Punch Man which I find to be more enjoyable in some ways. Sakamoto Days is often comical, though it has some serious moments which never feel as if they distract from the lighter aspects of the story. The action scenes are quite well done with amazing art by Yuto Suzuki that compliments the story and leads to an enjoyable reading experience for those who enjoy a lighthearted story with creative and funny action scenes. Overall, I found this manga to be quite the fun read, and I found myself enjoying it more than I initially thought I ever would. Sakamoto Days continued to surprise me at every chapter with its fun and entertaining scenes. This volume gets a well-deserved 3.9/5 due to being an entertaining story with an extremely fun main character and supporting characters that allowed me to enjoy the story much more than I thought I would, as I often found myself surprisingly laughing aloud at some of the scenes.
