Book Review: The Bad Guys (The Bad Guys #1)

By Aaron Blabey

5 Stars

The Bad Guys book 1 was wonderful and entertaining. The story follows a group of characters that includes the leader and clever wolf, a gentle, kind-hearted shark, a sarcastic and loyal snake, and an energetic and impulsive piranha. This book is about how the leader decides that he is tired of being called a bad guy and a monster. However, attempting to help others out, they faced challenges because they were looked at like monsters, and people were frightened when seeing them. Despite helping people, they weren't shown any gratitude for their actions because of their looks. Despite people being scared of them, the group felt a sense of accomplishment from their actions and promised to start better behaviour. This book is amazing because I have watched the movie, and it was great. I read all The Bad Guys and read it again because it was an awesome book because of its humour. I recommend this book to kids and people who like adventure books because the book is about a group going to a place to be heroes, and also to help others and take down villains that are harming others. I loved the book, The Bad Guys, because it has many series, and in each series of the book, they are in a different place, which can be space, the future, etc. The best part of this in the movie is that they were also looked at as bad guys, but when they stopped the villains, people started to praise them for doing good things, and they felt very happy and felt like they accomplished their goals.
