The novel is the ultimate start-up to the overall Warriors Saga, in my perspective! An action-packed adventure, the book significantly gives a lot of ideas on how to accept someone new to a society (with strict rules and laws!) and give them a chance at proving their loyalty. All throughout the novel, the main protagonist works hard at gaining trust and confidence and proving loyalty in order to fit in somewhere new: a world of bravery, courage, wisdom, and most of all, war. A symbolic and inspiring story, there happens to be a lot of choosing sides in the novel so as to seek a side which maintains loyalty and courage, as well as a side more on the defense and war aspects during a time of indefensible war and rage. The main protagonist tends to see and witness things with more of an open mind than others. Definitely plays that equitable, heroic, empath, wise, and war-slayer role a great protagonist carries. Every chapter was a new thrill for me, a new look into the sharp minds of the characters. Therefore, the characters in the novel are all very strong and independent about who they are, who they want to be, and the parts they play in the novel. Loyalty seems to be the most important thing in the whole story, while betrayal is what all characters have an eye out for. Overall, I think this book is a must-read for everyone! There is a lot of adventure, wisdom, and decision-making during hardships that affect an entire area of independent characters!
