The movie A Working Man was produced by David Ayer, and Sylvester Stallone co-wrote the screenplay. The film stars Jason Statham, Michael Peña, and David Harbour. It is based on the 2014 novel "Levon's Trade" by Chuck Dixon. A Working Man is an action-packed movie where there's intense combat and obstacles at every turn. After the Garcia's teen daughter goes missing, Levon Cade, played by Jason Statham, a foreman for the Garcia's construction company and an ex-royal marines commando, decides to help the Garcia family find their daughter. With gang tension, finding the girl is even harder than it normally would be. To find the girl, Levon Cade must use skills from his past; skills he tried to bury when he left that part of his life. To find the Garcia's daughter, Levon Cade must dip into the criminal underworld creating dangerous enemies. This movie definitely stood out to me for several reasons. First off, the story of the movie really captivates the audience, and it's interesting, different, and exciting all at once! I would most definitely recommend this movie to my friends and family for an action-packed movie night! If I had to be honest, I feel like this movie is a "one-time watch" type of movie. What I mean by that is even though I said I liked this movie, I feel like you only need to watch it once. It's not a movie I would repeat, but as I said earlier, it's still a good movie.
