In Beetlejuice Beetlejuice after an unexpected tragedy in the family, the Deetz family return to Winter River. We discover that Lydia Deetz is still being haunted by her old friend Beetlejuice. Lydia's life gets disrupted when her daughter, Astrid Deetz, discovers a way to the afterlife. When a certain someone says Beetlejuice's name three times, the troublesome demon soon returns to unleash his very own unique mayhem.
This movie is the sequel to the 1988 film Beetlejuice. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is filled with the same iconic humour as the 1988 film. I love how they kept the original cast plus a few new characters to keep it fresh and interesting. The story of this movie is well written, but I wish that the movie had a little bit more in the scare department, like the first movie. I have been wanting to watch this movie ever since it came out in 2024. Once I watched it, I realized that I honestly prefer the first movie. Although I do still love Beetlejuice Beetlejuice overall.
I would recommend this movie 100%, especially to people who are in love with the first movie and all things spooky and humorous. If you haven't watched the first one, I would advise you to watch it before this one to get the back story of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. The only reason that I am not rating this movie 5/5 stars is because I think this movie was missing an element that the original had, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I would overall rate Beetlejuice Beetlejuice a 4/5 stars and would definitely recommend it.
