Movie Review: Spider-Man: Far From Home

Directed by Jon Watts

4 Stars

Spider-Man: Far From Home is a superhero movie that takes place after Avengers: Endgame. Peter Parker is returning to his normal life and enjoying a school trip across Europe. He wants a break from being a hero and just focus on hanging out with friends and maybe telling MJ how he feels. But things don't go as planned when new threats show up, and he's forced to step up again. What I enjoyed most about this movie was how it mixed action with personal life. Peter isn't just a superhero, he's a kid who's stressed, confused and trying to figure out who he is. The movie has some great fight scenes, but also a lot of entertaining and awkward moments that make it fun to watch. The visuals were awesome, especially during some of the illusion parts. The effects and CGI felt creative and different from most superhero movies. I also liked the villain who brought a cool twist without being too predictable. The pacing was good, and it didn't feel too long. Some parts were a little cheesy, but nothing that ruined it. The mix of high school and big superhero action genres actually worked really well. I'd recommend Far From Home to anyone who likes superhero movies or just wants something fun with action. You don't need to be a huge action comic fan to enjoy it. The movie is exciting, fun, and shows a more human side of being a hero.
