Luigi's Mansion 3 is an original and slightly spooky game. It is an adventure game, and you are playing as Luigi, and he has to get through a ghost mansion to rescue his vanished friends after a villain captured them. Each floor of the hotel is different in theme and appears to be something else, like pirate ships, movie sets, or deserts. Keeping the game fresh and fun. Gameplay is puzzle-solving-based, light combat and exploring. Using a Poltergust G-00, a ghost sucking vacuum, to vacuum up ghosts or solve puzzles. As you go along, Luigi gets a friend call Gooigi, a green clone who can pass through fences, walk over spikes, reach where Luigi is unable to and even has a 2-player mode. The controls are easy to use after some practice. The graphics are well-polished and colourful. While the theme is a ghost mansion, the game is light-hearted and never too scary. The characters are fun and well-polished, and there are plenty of animations that bring them to life. Music and sounds are horror-like but not overboard. One flaw is that sometimes the puzzle may appear repetitive or confusing, which can make it annoying. Some of the boss battles are also tricky unless you learn the pattern; it may be tricky for casual gamers. But the game is loving and well-built. It is good for gamers who enjoy puzzle-solving and a horror-like feel, but with a bit more sense of humour than horror. Good for Halloween or whenever you feel like an adventure.
