NHL 25 is certainly one of the greatest hockey games of all time that I've ever played, and it's something that I would highly recommend to any sports enthusiast or just video game enthusiast in general. The moment I started it up, improved graphics and silky smooth gameplay were evident right off the bat. Gamefeel is enhanced as the players feel they are that much more in control, puck physics are improved over ever before, and the rinks look more like real-life and lively in character, coupled with the same feel as live NHL action. Without question, one of my personal favourites about NHL 25 is the new Be a Pro mode – deeper, more realistic, and assisting me in building the story of my player both on and off the ice. The Franchise Mode also received a good boost with greater control over trades, scouting, and team management, so each season is new and strategic. The customization features are my favourite, personally – from jerseys to arenas, I can pretty much make the game feel like it's customized. Online is more competitive, matchmaking is improved, so it's more fun to challenge individuals all around the globe. The soundtrack is also good, and it actually puts the correct mood between games. If you're a big NHL fan or simply enjoy quick and competitive sporting video games, then NHL 25 is the complete package. It's the kind of game that I can easily play for hours without even realizing it, which is why I enjoy it and would suggest it to others.
