The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an open-world, story-based game developed by Nintendo. You play as a character named Link, a hero who wakes up in a ruined kingdom. You, as the player, must explore, fight, and climb your way to survive. While the story is important in the game, you are free to do whatever you want. What makes the game special and an amazing game is the sense of exploration. From the moment our hero wakes up, you are free to do whatever you want; if you want to climb, fight, or solve puzzles, you are fully free to. The game does not give you a set path; it trusts that you are able to do whatever you want. The physics engine, the weather system, and the survival methods, such as stamina and cooking, add fun mechanics to the game without making it overwhelming. Visually, this game looks stunning. Its art style is soft and cartoony, making the game feel magical and calm. Similarly with the music, it is soft and emotional. There is a piano and nature sounds that make the game feel peaceful and relaxing. That said, nothing is perfect. Some people may find some of the mechanics frustrating. Those consist of a durability system. Simply, it is a weapon system that has durability, making weapons break often and quickly. The voice acting at some points is very inconsistent. Some parts, such as emotional moments, are good; otherwise, the voice acting is not that great. Although that does not make the game any worse. The game is still a masterpiece of design. It rewards curiosity, creativity, and skill. I'd personally recommend it to anyone who enjoys open-world games, puzzle-solving, or simply looking at beautiful scenery. Whether it is your first Zelda game or you are a longtime Zelda fan, this game offers something amazing.
