Fandom Trivia
Maker Space / 11 am-3:30 pm
Test your trivia knowledge with themed challenges that run every half hour. Participate individually or in teams. Presented by the Teen Advisory Group.

Show & Tell
Auditorium / 1-2 pm
Bring your favourite fandom collectable to show off! Library staff and special guests will join in the fun.

Virtual Reality Experiences
Auditorium / 10 am-12 pm & 1-3 pm
Explore virtual worlds with exciting games and experiences. Participate seated or standing. Ages 10+.

Junior Cosplay Contest / Ages 5-9
Studio / 11:30 am-12:30 pm
Dress up as your favourite character for your chance to win a prize. Participate in the cosplay parade afterward with special guests.

Anime Scavenger Hunt / Lower Level
Search for your favourite anime characters hidden around the Library.

Arcade Alley / Auditorium
Work as a family to conquer our fandom-themed games of chance.

Comic Feature: Displaced / Main Floor
Celebrate the release of this comic featuring Oshawa with a unique scavenger hunt and displays.

Meet local comic writers and artists who will be showcasing and selling their work.

J. Torres

J. Torres is a writer best known for his work on Teen Titans Go, Batman: Knightwatch, and Adventure Comics for DC Kids on YouTube. His award-winning graphic novels for younger readers include Brobots, How to Spot a Sasquatch, Mighty Zodiac, Planet Hockey, and Stealing Home. He lives in Whitby and can be found online at jtorrescomics.com

Kayce Konrad

Kayce Konrad is the author and creator of PC Pete and the Brood of Clones, a new graphic novel about two vintage computers trying to survive in the modern world. Kayce is a Digital Librarian by profession for over 25 years. He also loves and is passionate about computers, technology and the creative arts. In his spare time, he likes to dabble in photography, filmmaking and screenwriting. This is his first graphic novel with plans for a second in the works. Keith Grachow

Keith Grachow, opens a new window is a comic book creator, writing and illustrating for comic books, graphic novels, and children’s books. He also teaches workshops on comic book creation. He has illustrated a story in the next volume of TO Comix Press anthology series, The City We Chose and released a new issue of SALTWATER, with KikaMika Comics. You can find him cuddling up with his wife, Jenn, in Burlington, Ontario as he ponders how to use commas properly. 

Megan Kearney

Megan Kearney, opens a new window is a Toronto-based cartoonist with a background in animation. She works as a writer, illustrator and educator, and is a frequent guest at conventions across North America. Her clients include television studios such as Temple Hill Productions and Sinking Ship Entertainment. In addition to her award-winning original works, she has contributed to licensed properties with Scholastic, Disney, and many others. Her most recent title, Swan Lake: Quest for the Kingdoms, opens a new window, released from Harpercollins, was a Kirkus Starred Review in 2022 and is currently in development at Paramount Animation. Her next book, Corpse de Ballet, is expected to be published by First Second in 2026. 

Ricky Lima

Ricky Lima, opens a new window is a writer and educator from Brampton, Ontario. He enjoys writing interesting stories and helping people. Sometimes those two things are the same.
