Placements may be available in the following areas: Public Service (including MLIS-Librarian, Library Tech, ECE, Social Work, Education, Recreation and Leisure, Museum and Archives), Marketing, Finance, HR, Maintenance, IT, and Technical Services. Student Page Positions
The Oshawa Public Libraries hires student pages for part-time work on evenings and weekends. Daytime hours are available for college and university students. The primary duties of a student page include shelving books and other library resources. Pushing and pulling heavy book carts is required.
