Deliver eBooks instantly to your Kobo!

 

Ebook readers, rejoice! Beginning October 1, customers using the mobile CloudLibrary app or the online CloudLibrary website will see a new "Send to Kobo" button for eligible eBooks. This feature enables wireless delivery of eligible eBooks to supported Kobo devices. See you later, cables and Adobe Digital Editions!

Kobo account and Wi-Fi connection are required for wireless delivery.

Connect Your Accounts

Mobile CloudLibrary app users: go to Account> Kobo Connect and follow the prompts until connected. Make sure you are running the latest version of the app.

CloudLibrary website users: go to the account dropdown at the top right of the screen and click Kobo Connect. Follow the prompts until connected.

Borrow:

  1. Browse for a title in the CloudLibrary app or the CloudLibrary webpage

  1. Select a title and choose the Send to Kobo option (on eligible CloudLibrary eBooks).
  2. The title is instantly delivered to your Kobo account.
  3. Sync your Kobo device (if necessary). Your newly borrowed title should appear under "My Books"

Additional Details:

  • Borrowed titles expire automatically at the end of the loan period.
  • You can renew titles if no other customer is waiting. After renewing, customers must select Send to Kobo again to extend access on their device until the new due date.
  • Audiobooks cannot be sent to Kobo devices at this time.
  • If you return an eBook early, it will disappear from your CloudLibrary account but remain on your Kobo device until the original expiry date.
  • A small number of eBooks may not display the Send to Kobo option. Title availability may change over time. In these cases, you may transfer titles using the original wired method to a computer or laptop.
  • To transfer titles that don't show the Send to Kobo option, watch the online video tutorial or learn more about CloudLibrary support.
  • You can link up to five CloudLibrary accounts to a single Kobo account. Perfect for households with multiple library lovers!
