Free Tax Preparation Clinic
In partnership with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program and the Canada Revenue Agency, OPL will host a tax preparation clinic from March 1 - April 30, 2024. Eligible individuals may arrange to have their 2023 taxes prepared by a CVITP-approved volunteer free of charge through the Library.
You may be eligible if you have a modest income and a simple tax situation. Information for eligibility criteria can be found on the Government of Canada website.
This year, OPL will offer two kinds of tax clinics. In March, we will host walk-in clinics at both the Jess Hann and McLaughlin branches. Stay tuned to this page as we add more dates and times for our walk-in clinics!

In April, we will offer pre-booked appointments only. Eligible individuals can contact the Library to book an in-person Tax Clinic appointment starting Monday, March 18th, by calling (905) 579-6111 ext. 5200.
