Eternals is a film that's about ten ancient immortal superheroes (Ikaris, Sersi, Druig, Sprite, Thena, Kingo, Ajak, Phastos, Makkari and Gilgamesh) that have been living on earth in secret. These superheroes have been on a mission for thousands of years to protect humankind from the evil Deviants and what is yet to come to planet Earth.
I was mostly interested in this movie because it was a new story that wasn't attached to the Avengers. The Eternals movie is different from all the other Marvel movies. That is one thing that I really like about this story. I also love that throughout the movie, there are a lot of background story clips to help the viewers understand the story much better. Eternals has a few plot twists and jaw-dropping moments to keep the audience interested and focused on the storyline. This movie contains betrayal for the previous reason, as well as keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.
I personally liked the Eternals movie because it was a brand new team of superheroes, and I had no idea what to expect from it. There were a few parts in the movie where I got a bit bored, but, in all honesty, I also prefer some comedy mixed in with action movies. There were a few jokes, but not a whole lot. Overall, I would recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for a new batch of Marvel superheroes to fall in love with or just likes action movies in general. 4/5 stars.
