Book Review: My Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Silly Book of Pranks

By Matt Lucas

5 Stars

My Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Silly Book of Pranks is a very heartfelt silly and fun book that is literally just full of pranks. It made me feel very engaged in it, and I had so much fun reading this book. This book would mainly be for kids as it is a very silly book and could be seen as childish. Either way, I really enjoyed it, and it gave me a couple laughs, if I'm being honest. The book is mainly art, which is what I love in a book. I prefer pages with art on them over pages with just pictures. The art pieces on the pages made the book so much funnier because of the silly drawings each page contained with each prank. Although the pranks themselves are not groundbreaking, they are often funny in their simplicity. It's clear that the book isn't meant to be a serious practice for pranksters but rather a montage of amusing ideas to bring some laughter into everyday life. The book also emphasizes that the pranks should always be in good fun and not cause harm because that's something that's very important in today's more aware and sensitive society. Overall though, My Very Very Very Very Very Very Very Silly Book of Pranks is a fun and harmless book for children or anyone who enjoys a light, comedic book. If you're a fan of this writer's humour and looking for a book that encourages a fun, good time, this is a great pick for you. It's exactly what it promises silly, fun, and a lot of pranks. Overall, I give this book a 5/5.
